There was a great deal of work left to be done, and Arthur had done as such just that morning until Gaius had gently reminded him he was supposed to be recovering still. With no interest in sitting around his room whittling or anything of the sort, Arthur had announced he was to go hunting.
This was, of course, somewhat counter to Gaius's concerns, but really, he'd assured the man, he was only taking Merlin for a quick jaunt to get some rabbits or maybe a deer. Strictly the simple stuff.
Apparently the tone in his voice had carried Arthur's meaning across to Gaius, because that had been the end of it. (Not that Arthur would have ever let Gaius order him to stay anywhere, except the man could be a bit odd in his own way, and the last thing Arthur needed today was a codgy old physician pottering after him with a bowl of leeches and a raised eyebrow and-- All right, maybe he was a little terrified of Gaius, but honestly, it was like people didn't expect him to be able to take care of himself after nineteen-- all right, eighteen, according to the slower turning of seasons in Camelot-- years of living)
If Arthur were to be forced to spend time outside of the reconstruction effort, he'd make it something enjoyable. Which is why, after an illicit trip down to the kitchens and a shout in Merlin's general direction, they were heading out into the woods.
And then past the woods, onto the hilltops and their sprawling fields. The view was nice, the early spring sun was nice, and Arthur would be lying if the company wasn't nice.
Of course, it was absolutely nothing like hunting, but shh. He'd mention the true purpose of this jaunt in due time.
This was an excellent idea, if he did say so himself.

Date: 2010-05-16 06:04 am (UTC)Merlin shifted closer, pushing one hand up beneath Arthur's shirt to, well, mostly just touch him. Because he was rather girly, you see. "Faster, please."

Date: 2010-05-16 06:09 am (UTC)He stroked down faster, trying to coordinate it with the motion of his hips, and his enjoyment of the fingertips passing over his skin. "Got it," he said, staring up at Merlin's face for a moment. "...god, you're lovely."
He was so very, very happy this place didnt't have any radio squirrels.

Date: 2010-05-16 06:32 am (UTC)So no thanks to Merlin.
He did kiss him, though, thoroughly, running his fingers over Merlin's cheek. "Then you pick something," he said, dryly.

He... might have shifted sideways a little. To help.

Date: 2010-05-16 03:15 pm (UTC)He didn't particularly give a rat's arse how good Merlin was at it right now; it was good to have anything done by him at all.

Date: 2010-05-16 03:22 pm (UTC)Licking again, Merlin moved his hand up and down Arthur's length. Perhaps those things on the google about doing this would help! After a moment, he leaned down to take the tip of Arthur's prick into his mouth, sucking lightly.

Date: 2010-05-16 03:28 pm (UTC)Camelot did have some advantages.
He did lift his head up a little to peer down right then, following the edge of Merlin's cheekbones with his eyes.

Date: 2010-05-16 03:38 pm (UTC)Merlin closed his eyes, little wrinkles between forming between his eyebrows as he concentrated on the task at hand. It was slow, mostly because he wasn't all that confident in his mad blowjob skills. But steady as he moved his hand and mouth over Arthur's length.

Date: 2010-05-16 03:40 pm (UTC)Slow was very much fine.
After all the pratfalls earlier, it had an odd kind of solemn quality to it. Like reconnecting, or something else girly that Merlin could probably give a name to eventually.
As his breath sped up, Arthur reached down and brushed his fingers over Merlin's shoulder. Just feeling, really.
