There was a great deal of work left to be done, and Arthur had done as such just that morning until Gaius had gently reminded him he was supposed to be recovering still. With no interest in sitting around his room whittling or anything of the sort, Arthur had announced he was to go hunting.
This was, of course, somewhat counter to Gaius's concerns, but really, he'd assured the man, he was only taking Merlin for a quick jaunt to get some rabbits or maybe a deer. Strictly the simple stuff.
Apparently the tone in his voice had carried Arthur's meaning across to Gaius, because that had been the end of it. (Not that Arthur would have ever let Gaius order him to stay anywhere, except the man could be a bit odd in his own way, and the last thing Arthur needed today was a codgy old physician pottering after him with a bowl of leeches and a raised eyebrow and-- All right, maybe he was a little terrified of Gaius, but honestly, it was like people didn't expect him to be able to take care of himself after nineteen-- all right, eighteen, according to the slower turning of seasons in Camelot-- years of living)
If Arthur were to be forced to spend time outside of the reconstruction effort, he'd make it something enjoyable. Which is why, after an illicit trip down to the kitchens and a shout in Merlin's general direction, they were heading out into the woods.
And then past the woods, onto the hilltops and their sprawling fields. The view was nice, the early spring sun was nice, and Arthur would be lying if the company wasn't nice.
Of course, it was absolutely nothing like hunting, but shh. He'd mention the true purpose of this jaunt in due time.
This was an excellent idea, if he did say so himself.

Date: 2010-05-16 03:48 pm (UTC)It was... nice.
Merlin only sped up a little bit, trying to keep everything coordinated so it didn't end horribly. Again. But he did speed up!

Date: 2010-05-16 03:51 pm (UTC)But it was nice.
He brushed his fingers up, carding them softly through Merlin's hair, not gripping anything. His eyes half-shut. "Yeah," he gasped, a little louder this time.

Date: 2010-05-16 04:42 pm (UTC)... thinking of it like that was something else.
Arthur's eyes fluttered a couple of times in comprehension of that; he slid his thumbs gently over the skin by Merlin's ear, not close enough to his cheeks to throw him off. His mouth hung a little slacker.
He didn't exactly say anything, but the noises were slipping out rather faster than usual.

Nope.
Not happening then.

Yes, even while he had his cock in another man's mouth.

Date: 2010-05-16 05:28 pm (UTC)Merlin's talents just lay... elsewhere. After all. So, this was his best effort going about it his own way. Which seemed to involve keeping mostly just the tip of Arthur's prick in his mouth while he worked the rest with his hand.

Date: 2010-05-16 05:31 pm (UTC)In fact, he was getting embarrassingly loud rather quickly, one hand clawing into the grass from the effort of not giving into instinct. "Yes," he said, finally finding syllables appropriate to the situation. "Merlin--"

Not at--okay, it was on Arthur's ass now. Don't you judge him.

Date: 2010-05-16 05:36 pm (UTC)For now, anyway.
Squirming didn't much help him now either. "When I'm done--" he choked out. "'s your turn-- god."
Wouldn't be an utter puddle by the end of it - that was reserved for Merlin's other talents - but it felt fucking good regardless.

Date: 2010-05-16 05:39 pm (UTC)He hummed something that might have been a yes to Arthur's words.

Date: 2010-05-16 05:41 pm (UTC)And then maybe forced something out about being careful and almost, you know, in case Merlin wanted to move it before he accidentally choked to death on--
Anyway.

Date: 2010-05-16 05:45 pm (UTC)Merlin sucked harder, pressing his finger more insistently against that spot. Still not about to force anything, but pressure was constant.

"Jesus," he said, with feeling. "Next time--" Something something. He was starting to hurtle towards the end rather quickly.
