Room 325, Thursday Afternoon
He'd sent Francine a message the moment the idea struck; it was something for Support, after all, and Arthur wasn't going to flaunt around someone else's successes. There was little he could do outside right now, though-- at best, he could set off on a mission to chase the creatures down to their source later on.
Right now, though, he was thinking strategy. Staring out his window, squinting at the lay of the land he could get from there, and browsing through the maps for the rest of it.
He placed a few more calls and texts here and there to see what people were up to. Just in case.
The researches had best figure out what this was and soon.
[[ i am going to bed soon, so massive SP, but if you feel like he'd call/text and you want to respond, have at. likewise for if you want to visit; door's open ]]

Arthur looked up, and found... a towering stack of books talking to him. "...Merlin, put that down before you injure someone."

She could have replied to the text, but actually barging over to Arthur's room burned some of that restless energy, so there she was, pounding on the door.

You'd think that would've been hammered out of him after a year and a half of Fandom, but you'd be wrong.

"So, Reserves leader guy," she started without so much as a hello, "do we have anything that's starting to look plan-shaped?" She did not in any way mean to imply she was sick of not having anything to hit, but it was evident anyway.

"Our plan is to see if the researchers come up with something," Arthur said, picking up on the conversation like he did have every right to comment upon it, thank you for recognizing that fact, Kennedy, you would've looked very silly if you hadn't. "There's very little point in spending all of our time hunting these creatures down in the fog when the fog is our main problem, so barring that, I'd very much like to know wherever it is these creatures are holing up."
He rolled his shoulder to loosen it up. "I'd also like to keep them from getting onto the school grounds," he continued, because he had sensed that restlessness, thanks. "So if you have the time, find a companion, preferably someone with powers, get some masks and patrol the grounds. Take your pick."

...oh, and he had to bring the powers thing up, huh? Her jaw twitched, but she nodded. Masks, ew, not sexy, but better than going crazy, right? "Yeah, sure. But when we find out what's causing the fog, we get to hit it too, right? If it's, you know. Hittable."
no subject
In some ways, she was just an overeager young knight with breasts, wasn't she?
"I would say," Arthur said, "That if whatever is responsible for this is hittable, we should hit it with impunity."

You'd almost think she wanted to give him a migraine.

Arthur rubbed his forehead.
Who is your back-up?
no subject
... the equivalent of, 'hey, I'm going cruising for trouble with the guy who's got a really wicked motorcycle', if you're from Gotham.

You're sure the gas mask is secure?
no subject
That would be a yes.

And then

Beat.
A lot of these robot children seem to be dying this week. How are the rest of the students?
