Room 303, Tuesday Evening

After an exhausting day, there was little Arthur enjoyed more than getting to lounge about his thankfully not-an-alcove bed, which was just about as good as the one he had back in Camelot. He was already in his nightclothes by now, and he was fairly sure that whatever happened, he had a good night's sleep coming up on him.

If you didn't know him any better (and most people on the island didn't. Even many who thought they did) you could almost say he was completely back to normal, had put That Weekend out of his mind, and was continuing on as per usual.

You'd be wrong. So would Arthur, who made deluding himself into an art form when he felt like it.

He was just going to concentrate on the whole good night's sleep - have a hunting dog now - nice bed thing. That was about in keeping with his sanity. (That, and considering everything that Reno had put on his mind. It was always nice when life accommodated your denial with more responsibilities)

He wasn't yet aware that in a few short hours, he was going to be bustled out of his room by cranky rodents, no.

"And why is that?" Leto countered with a laugh. "Does your conclusion depend on mine?"

"That depends," Arthur said, pulling a fake thoughtful face.

Something went twitch on the inside. Much like with Jenny last week. He... ignored it, and tried not to think about trees.

"On what?" Leto pulled his shirt over his head and reached for his own night clothes.

Arthur did seem to have a thing about trees. Perhaps he needed to experience the desert.

"On whether or not you're going to be putting those on," Arthur returned, glancing at Leto's exposed chest. Subtle, really.

He was just glad he didn't have any treeburn on his back anymore. That made things easier to deal with.

"Now, perhaps you should give me some more information here on which to base my decision," Leto smirked, getting off the bed and taking a few steps towards Arthur.

Arthur got up off his own bed, slowly, and failed to break eye-contact for a few moments; then he pulled off his nightshirt as he went to shut the door with a sound thud.

He dropped the shirt to the floor. Deal with that later. "For one," he said, idly, pulling his hand away from the door, "It's only fair to keep things equal."

"I'm not going to argue with that," Leto replied. They weren't talking about other people, after all. Walking up to him, Leto gave Arthur a nudge towards the door.

For once, Arthur's brain happily supplied, but he didn't voice it, taking a step backward to anticipate on the nudge - couldn't let Leto have all the control, now - and sliding one hand up into his hair, firmly.

"Good," he just said.

While the banter was entertaining, Leto saw no point in replying this time. He just met Arthur's eyes, waiting for the other man to act. That was a challenge, too.

The fact that they were back to this made him relax a little, and not only because of the anticipated pleasure.

Back to old ways for different reasons, not that Arthur would acknowledge anything of the sort. No thinking about trees, or spells, or overly innocent boys with black hair and blue eyes. He looked back at Leto steadily for a few, creeping seconds.

The moment he slid his unoccupied hand over Leto's firm biceps was also the moment he yanked him forward for a kiss, impatience or a need for denial and distraction kicking in - whichever was which.

The kiss was returned of course, and Leto pushed Arthur against the door. Arthur's reasons really didn't matter to him, as long as the benefits were enjoyable enough. They usually were, he recalled.

The fact that Arthur was positive Leto really didn't care was half the reason he was coming here to begin with. Much like Jenny in that, but with her there was something that didn't quite sit right.

Not that everything here sat right, but it was little enough that he could ignore it, for once didn't put up a big fight, didn't flip them around - he could go for a little force tonight. Instead, he pulled just a little more firmly on Leto, nudging his thigh between them, and slid his hand down over the warm skin of his shoulder to the toned lines of his chest.

That made Leto draw his breath, grinning against Arthur's lips. He responded by pushing himself against him and then deepening the kisses, feeling his own eagerness for this increase.

It was a little hard to miss, yeah.

Arthur's own expression grew remarkably smugger between kisses, but he had more important things to do, and an awful lot of time to fill with things that weren't thinking about his stupid bloody manservant.

He pressed back, running his hand along until he found a nipple, brushing it with the edge of his thumb. "Better-- you didn't get-- dressed?"

"I still have some clothes on," Leto managed to point out, but he certainly wasn't questioning Arthur, especially not when he was doing that. Leto's own hands was now tugging at Arthur's trousers, as those to were quite unnecessary for this.

"Shame about that," Arthur informed Leto's jawline, and then his neck next, pulling on his hair a little to get the right angle.

Yes, a shame, but it could be sorted out later. Right now, Leto managed to push Arthur's trousers down over his hips, and then pushing against him again. He tilted his head, not minding the hand in his hair - quite the opposite, really - so that the kissing could continue.

At least no one could walk through the door right now.

Arthur began to entertain thoughts of flipping them again. Maybe in a few minutes. Right now, he was rather enjoying rubbing himself somewhat shamelessly into Leto, removing his fingers from his hair just to trail down his spine - and take a hold of his arse.

His smirk lit up a touch smugger.

That freed Leto's head, and he used the advantage to kiss Arthur again, first deeply on the lips and then further down, tilting his head so that he could reach his chest without pulling back.

Arthur was all in all more preoccupied with shoving his hand down the back of Leto's trousers, forcing them down with the hook of his thumb. He let his head fall back against the door with a shallow thud, and exhaled.

See? No thinking. Good.

Thinking was quite superfluous, now.

Hand moving to Arthur's hips, Leto ground himself against him with increasing need, while still exploring the kisses. He felt the voices in his mind grow louder, like he was standing in the midst of a crowd, but clung to the physical pleasure to keep them at bay.

"C'mon," Arthur muttered, followed quickly by a shuddering pant. His hand abandoned its quest for Leto's trousers for long enough to shove him, not too gently, to switch up their positions.

Also, to give him a chance to descend a few inches, if he managed. Damn.

That wasn't entirely unexpected, and Leto had been surprised Arthur had let him be in control for as long as he had. To Leto it didn't much matter, as long as the result was enjoyable.

It better be.

Arthur, as it was, had sunk down low, not quite on his knees but close to it, pressing his mouth to the still-clothed portions of Leto's crotch.

He was very, very dedicated to his mission.

Leto had learned to appreciate that kind of dedication, and he let out a gasp, one hand pressing against the door behind him and the other for Arthur's hair.
